Prelude to Vegas

On the eve of our first big vacation together, I figured it would be a grand idea to get off my lazy bum and create this blog for everyone to enjoy.

It has been a full and productive first year of marriage and it's about time to get around to that honeymoon thing everyone says is supposed to happen.
Reader: "But if you already have a year of being married under your belt and haven't had a honeymoon, how do you make up for that?"

Incredibly excited to be right on the strip. The phrase "walking distance" is going to be our friend.

While planning this trip we really wanted to see some great shows.

One in particular is the "Cirque Du Soleil' show 'Zarkana'.

What are those eyes looking at?

Plus this show is actually happening in our hotel.... oh and we didn't have to pay for the tickets; always an upside.

We will also be hitting up "Brad's Garret's Comedy Club" over at MGM and Brad is supposed to be there, so that should be very funny.

How can you say no to that mug?

Over at the Luxor we'll be seeing Criss Angel preforming "Believe". What's a trip to Vegas without a massive magic show!?

I believe there are going to be mirrors

If you're going to Vegas, you had better do something you have never done before. So we are going to shoot guns at "Battlefield Vegas."

Definitely shaping up to be one heck of a week. Katie and I are so blessed to be able to take such a trip. We will post as many pictures and summaries on here as we can, but I imagine a lot will leak onto Facebook and Twitter first. So look forward to posts about food, shows, and it being hot.
