This is just a post for some pictures of Turkey in the Winter with a rare snow fall. After that, over the weekend we actually drove up into the mountains nearby and ski'd! Turns out I really enjoy snow sports and we'll be doing more of it in the future.

These hills were about an hour away and they were a lot of fun for us.
This is the small picture of the crowd. This place isn't too far from Istanbul so it drew a lot of people to it. Far more than we expected.
Someone thinks he's cool
Just a heads up, in the coming week Katie and I will be visited by her parents who are making the long flight over. They'll be staying in Turkey for about a week, a week in which we will be exploring a lot of Istanbul and other spots in Turkey. Going to be a ton of fun and we can't wait. It also means more content so there's that to look forward to! Till next time, stay cool.

ReplyDeleteChristine, our airfare wasn't as bad as you might imagine. If you want to go, checkout Turkish Airlines. They were very reasonable for our fights next week. I don't know about how long they will be less expensive but It might be worth checking into.
